Thanks to pops, we got a lot done before we’re up for the week. The appliances will be delivered on Sunday and we tried to get the outlet wired for the microwave in the cabinet but sparks flew and now I have a short in the wiring somewhere. I may have to run a new wire – fun, fun, fun.
We got all the knobs in the laundry room and kids bathroom.
We got the shelving mostly done in three closets – just need the actual shelves now.
Put another coat of polyurethane on the steps.
Put down a coat of sealer on all the tile and got a few more odds and ends done… seems like it never ends!

The Bubblecuffer Season has started

Jack and Jenna meeting with their new coach

The season has started and we’re off to a good start. I dropped the kids off and they wanted Denise and I to leave immediately – what a difference from last year when it was hard to break away.
I went and got my stuff and headed up the quad to the top of the mountain. I was thankful the kids weren’t up there as it was close to zero degrees with 40 mph winds – it was cold! 2 minutes later I ran into the kids – they must have been frozen.
The day ended with Jack going through a snow gun and getting coated in ice. He was not having fun at that point. His feet were killing him and his boots were too small. I took out the bed liners and he went without socks the next day. Combine that with the much nicer weather and they had a much better day.
