Beautiful view and the grass is coming in

It’s always the way – it rained the entire time I was framing and now that the house is wrapped up and I’m planting grass, it’s continuously sunny.
I went with what’s called “no mow” grass. It supposedly grows so slowly it only needs to be mowed a few times a year. I love the rock wall and think it’s going to look great when all the grass comes in.

The first attempt at the rock wall was not successful. We started over and it became a joint effort. Grandma Bev came up to show the boys how it’s done and with a couple pinch bars and a big excavator, we started build a new wall – this is going to take a lot longer than the first.
